This is our second community solar farm. As with our other sites (commercial and community), there is almost no visibility from public roads or other public rights of way, and land grade is low, of course. After a connection offer was received from the local distribution company, Western Power, and planning permission was granted, construction, commissioning and 'grid' connection concluded in June 2016. The solar farm has been operational since then, generating financial benefit for its charity over its lifetime. Sheep grazing continues on the solar farm.
