As with Moneybroom no.1, this solar farm site was selected on neighbouring land, as the landscape is very low lying, and the fields are mostly hidden behind existing hedges. Land grade is low. Following planning permission and other approvals, construction and commissioning completed in Q1 2017. The solar farm has been operating successfully since then.
